OhioHealth seeks a Staff RN for our Bone & Joint unit in a casual role. You will provide evidence-based orthopedic and musculoskeletal nursing care, coordinate pre- and post-operative treatment, administer medications, monitor patient status, and educate patients and families. Collaborate closely with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams while upholding OhioHealth’s compassionate, inclusive culture. Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to Bone & Joint patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
Manage pre- and post-operative orthopedic care and education
Monitor patient status, pain, and wound healing; document in EHR
Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
Educate patients and families on recovery, mobility, and discharge plans
Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards
Participate in continuous learning and professional development
