Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full Time, 0.8 FTE
  • 0.6 FTE Podiatry - Outpatient clinic, inpatient responsibilities, and dedicated operating room (OR) time.
  • 0.2 FTE Wound Care - Providing comprehensive wound management as part of a multidisciplinary wound care team.
• Schedule: M-F, approximately 8-5 pm 
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI

• Team Size: Team of 3 surgical podiatrists, supported by medical assistants, referral coordinators, triage nurse, BOC and surgery scheduling
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
• Call Requirements: Shared rotating call schedule among five podiatrists. Call is taken on a weekly rotation from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m

The successful candidate will join an established and collaborative podiatry team serving a diverse patient population throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area. The position offers a blend of outpatient clinic, inpatient consultative care, and surgical opportunities. The physician will work closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Experience only
• Must be Board-Certified Surgical Podiatrist 
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
