Balance endoscopy procedures and clinic coverage in an adult gastroenterology practice with a 5 percent call back rate and established clinical support.

Practice & Cases

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology
• 20-25 patients
• Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, biopsy, and esophageal procedures
• Support includes RNs, a medical assistant, an advanced practice provider, and office staff

Schedule

• Procedures Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and half of Thursday
• Clinic Tuesday and half of Thursday
• Night call every night with a 30-minute response requirement
• 1-2 phone consults and 1-2 patients seen during call, with no admissions

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years in Gastroenterology
• Active Virginia medical license required
