Practice Setting
- Inpatient medical setting, with a focus on high-quality, team-based care
- 85-bed hospital with an open ICU
- Support team includes MDs and APPs
- Onsite support from pulmonary and cardiology specialists, plus full hospital staff
Schedule
- Day and night shifts
- Call requirements are restricted to scheduled hours
Cases & Procedures
- Patient population is adults only
- Average volume of 14-18 patients per day
- Standard inpatient care, with no procedures required
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina state license (required prior to start)
- Must have recent (within the past 6 months) inpatient experience in hospitalist, emergency medicine, or critical care
- BLS and DEA certifications
- No new graduates; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
