St. Joseph’s Health is seeking per-diem Hospital Medicine Physicians to work available Nocturnist shifts in Syracuse, NY. Position Details:

• Nocturnist Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, 7pm-7am
• Responsible for admissions and overnight inpatient management
• Works in conjunction with Hospital Medicine Providers to conduct history & physicals with documentation in EPIC EMR
• Arranges for necessary follow-up care for patients as needed upon discharge from the Hospital
• Collaborates with colleagues and specialists to manage changes in patient condition

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Prior Hospitalist experience preferred, not required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and dedication to team-based care

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $210.00 per hour
• Malpractice Insurance provided, with post-tail coverage
