St. Josephs Health is seeking a Nocturnist for a part-time opportunity with our established Hospital Medicine team in Syracuse, NY. Position Details:

• Part-time Schedule (0.5 FTE); 1-week (7 straight days) per month, 12-hour shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM
• Responsible for admissions and overnight inpatient management
• Works in conjunction with Hospital Medicine Providers to conduct history & physicals with documentation in EPIC EMR
• Arranges for necessary follow-up care for patients as needed upon discharge from the Hospital
• Collaborates with colleagues and specialists to manage changes in patient condition

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Prior Hospitalist experience preferred, not required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and dedication to team-based care

Recruitment Package:

• Part-time Base Salary: $160,160 per year plus productivity and quality bonuses
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
