Description
Emplify Health by Gundersen’s Wonewoc Family Medicine Clinic is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our collaborative primary care team. This position is primarily based in Wonewoc, with occasional coverage at our Elroy and Hillsboro clinic locations, all located within approximately eight miles.
You will join a collegial team of two Family Medicine physicians and six Advanced Practice Clinicians while caring for patients across the lifespan in a team-based practice environment with strong specialty support and access to Epic, connecting care teams across the Emplify Health System.
Integrated behavioral health services are available at our nearby Hillsboro and Elroy clinic locations, where a behavioral health nurse practitioner and multiple therapists’ partner with our primary care teams to support comprehensive patient care.
Just minutes from the Wonewoc clinic, Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro offers a 25-bed critical access hospital with a 24/7 Emergency Department, specialty clinics, and surgical services, providing convenient access to additional resources while maintaining the close relationships and continuity that make rural family medicine so rewarding.

- No inpatient responsibilities (hospitalized patients are admitted and cared for by our established hospitalist and inpatient medical services)

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and the expectations of all medical staff.
