Who we are:
Our History
This practice was founded in 2022 by Eric Rightley, MD, with the vision of practicing medicine the way it was always meant to be practiced. Built on meaningful physician-patient relationships, our practice provides patient-centered primary care delivered exclusively by physicians. We combine the timeless principles of personalized, relationship-driven medicine with the best of modern medical science and technology, bringing primary care back to where it should be.
Our Culture
We believe that exceptional patient care begins by treating physicians with the respect, trust, and support they deserve. Our culture prioritizes clinical excellence over administrative compliance, giving physicians the time, autonomy, and resources to practice thoughtful, high-quality medicine. We foster an environment where collaboration, professionalism, continuous learning, and genuine relationships are valued, allowing both our physicians and our patients to thrive.
Our Goals
Our mission is to redefine what people in New Mexico expect from primary care. As we grow, our goal is to care for more individuals without compromising the personalized experience that defines our practice. We strive to deliver a classic approach to modern medicine, which leverages strong physician-patient relationships to prevent what can be prevented, quickly detect what cannot, and measurably improve quality of life across the board.
What it’s like to practice here:
- You’ll spend weekdays in the office, with Mondays and Fridays typically being appointment-free working days, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays being appointment-driven days.
- You will be able to focus entirely on clinical matters, and the practice will support all administrative needs around you.
- You will spend typically hour-long appointments with patients, so there will be time to think through clinical matters and build lasting relationships.
- You will have a dedicated support person to help you tend to your patients and manage your clinical needs. This will not be the typical medical assistant, but rather a Patient Experience Coordinator, who will operate at a high level to make the healthcare experience smoother for both you and your patients.
- You will sign notes in our EMR (AthenaOne), so that our administrative team can bill them to the appropriate insurance.
- You will provide “on-call” access to your patient panel for urgent medical matters. Patients will be instructed on appropriate means of communication, so urgent matters outside of business hours will be infrequent.
- You will have access to a suite of both proprietary and open-source software to help lift the clinical burden and improve quality of care.
- You will work in one of the nicest office buildings in the heart of Uptown Albuquerque, complete with mountain views and an upscale food hall downstairs.
- You will build your patient panel from a full waitlist of patients who are eager to engage with a high-quality physician.
- You will have a workload and schedule that can form around your life, so you can always be there for important life moments.
- You will be one of the first hires in our growing business, so your influence will help shape our future success and culture.
