About the location:
Located 60 miles south of Rochester, NY. This quiet, affordable, outdoors-oriented place offers easy access to larger cities-but is not a place with big-city amenities. One of the underrated advantages is that you're on the edge of the Finger Lakes region. The larger Finger Lakes-Keuka, Seneca, Canandaigua, etc.-give you access to wineries, breweries, restaurants, boating, hiking and weekend trips. Housing is dramatically less expensive than Rochester, Buffalo, Boston, NYC, or most desirable suburban markets. You can still find houses at prices that would be difficult to imagine in many parts of the Northeast.
