The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Physician Assistant with primary care experience to join our collaborative healthcare team. Position Details
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4 hours per day (20 hours/week)
Hours: Flexible scheduling available
Compensation: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour
Work Model: Primarily in-person with occasional remote work opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Duties
Conduct urgent care visits and complete comprehensive EMR documentation (Athena system)
Conduct follow up visits to provide continuity of care
Respond to patient communications via online portal
Triage urgent phone calls and patient messages
Review and interpret laboratory and imaging results with appropriate follow-up
Medication management including prescription refills
Care Coordination
Review specialist consultation notes and coordinate follow-up care
Communicate and collaborate with specialists and outside providers
Coordinate care with external healthcare facilities
Assist with prior authorization processes
Practice Support
Provide additional coverage during physician absences
Contribute to clinic operations and quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Education: Graduate of AMA-accredited Physician Assistant program
Licensure: Current Oregon PA license and DEA registration
Experience: Minimum 2 years in primary care setting
Technology: Experience with EMR systems (2+ years preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or training in any of the following areas:
Integrative medicine approaches
Lifestyle medicine and health coaching
Functional medicine principles
Nutritional counseling
Motivational interviewing techniques
